The painting “From Above” is named for the view from above the ocean, which I love so much.The different shades of blue of the water and the waves, which seem even more intense through the rays of the sun, how the spray is recognizable despite the height and how beautiful small islands like the Bahamas look from above, provided the inspiration for this painting. As always my art is about the feeling that I want to make artistically tangible in my paintings. In “From above” it is the feeling of space and joy to look at the beautiful ocean as if for the first time, which is more important to protect today than ever.
